The draw for the Men's Artistic Gymnastics competition at the Aquece Rio Test Event has been released. Germany, France, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Spain, Romania, Canada and Belgium will be competing with the top four teams earning qualification to the Olympics. Individual gymnasts will be competing for nominative places. After consultation the EC decided that Eleftherios Petrounias of Greece, who has already qualified to Rio will be the third gymnast from the nation to compete at the Aquece Test Event. RI Se Gwang, who has also earned Olympic Qualification will be the gymnast to represent the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Two gymnasts from The Republic of Korea, Brazil, the United States of America, Russia, Switzerland, China, Great Britain and Japan who have already qualified as a team will also be participating. BELGIUM WAS ORIGINALLY LISTED AS THE FIRST RESERVE NATION, HOWEVER THEY WILL BE COMPETING FOR OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION RIGHTS AFTER BELARUS FORFEITED THEIR TEAM POSITION.
